Painted rug DIY Project - before & after

The Rug for Chupi's room was completed this weekend, and I am pretty pleased with how it turned out. I wish I would have used a little but warmer yellow but I still like the end result, you can see the work in progress and finished result here. What do you think?

This is how it turned out:

There is still loads more to do in Chupi's room before she moves in (she is currently sharing a bedroom with us) , the 2 dressers in the picture are also a work in progress, actually more of a work with no progress... I changed the drawer knobs and now I am not sure if I like it so the project has halted and every time I pass them I think "What to do??"

  2. Thank you Christine.
It was quite a quick pattern to do actually.
I just taped squares with a tape ca 3/4" wide, then I used a wider tape, ca 2 1/2" wide to do the stripes within the squares.
All in all ca 1.5 hrs work.
I am glad you like it.
